Ujjain: 26 quintal soyabean stolen

Ujjain: Some miscreants decamped with 26 quintal soyabean worth about Rs 100,000 from a warehouse here on Saturday.
Bhairavgadh police said that one Anup Singh, of Nanakheda area has a warehouse in Naikhedi.

On Saturday night miscreants stole 26 quintal of soyabean by lifting shutter of the ware house. When this incident occurred the guard Mohanlal was on duty on the other side, but he did not know about this incident. The incident was detected in the morning.

Warehouse owner Anup Singh reached the spot after being informed and made an assessment of the loss. Theft incidents are now showing an upward trend in rural areas also.

Thieves are targeting recently harvested wheat and grains, dumped in the farms. Thefts are also becoming frequent in remote colonies of city.
