Teachers welcome students on first day of new session

New academic session began on Monday in private and government schools. In many schools, teachers welcomed students by putting a tilak on their forehead. District education officer Sanjay Goyal said new students were welcomed by teachers in all government schools. The teachers will teach bridge course for class IX. The students of class X, XI and XII will be taught routine course. Goyal further said that the session would continue till April 30 and added that as per collector’s order, the school time will be 7 am to 12.30pm in April.
