The firebrand politician of Maharashtra, Raj Thackeray has been a total hit with his rallies amid Lok Sabha elections. After addressing public rallies in different parts of Maharashtra, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief will now focus on Mumbai and its surrounding areas. Raj Thackeray will address public rallies in Mumbai and its surrounding areas.

According to The Hindu, Raj Thackeray will address a public rally at Bhandup on April 23 and Sewri on April 24. Bhandup comes under Mumbai North East constituency where NCP’s Sanjay Dina Patil will take on BJP’s Manoj Kotak and on the other hand, Sewri falls under Mumbai South constituency where Congress’ Mumbai chief Milind Deora is contesting against Shiv Sena’s sitting MP Arvind Sawant.

MNS chief will also address a rally in Panvel on April 25 and Nashik the next day. Raj Thackeray’s schedule interestingly shows no rally in Mumbai North, where the Congress’s Urmila Matondkar is contesting elections from. An MNS leader told the leading daily, “Our party has already clarified that we will not support the candidature of Mr. Nirupam. His statements against the MNS chief and the Marathi manoos can never be tolerated.”
