Mumbai: With the increasing popularity of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief, Raj Thackeray, the party has decided to tap into this popularity by launching T-shirts sporting the message, ‘Ae Lav Re To Video’ (Put on that video). The message has gone viral on all social media sites and in Marathi-dominated areas of Mumbai, several youngsters have been seen wearing these tees.
‘Ae Lav Re To Video’ is what Raj says each time he decides to prove a point during his speeches across the state. These videos are carefully chosen, which depict the exact words of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, ‘while making his tall claims’, as Raj explains.
These T-shirts were launched on Tuesday in Dadar by party workers, inspired by their chief’s words. “These T-shirts are being circulated on a trial basis. Initially only 150 were printed and sold to party workers, but demand is increasing and soon, more people will be seen wearing these in various parts of Maharashtra,” said an MNS party worker.

The brains behind the endeavour are Sandeep Deshpande, Santosh Dhuri and their team from Dadar. Each time Raj utters, ‘Ae Lav Re To Video’ at one of his rallies, people know it is time for another expose of some of the fake promises made by the Modi government.
In the last few speeches, Raj has exposed the claims of Harisal digital village, the statement of Amit Shah that 350 terrorists were killed in the Balakot airstrike, 8.5 lakh toilets constructed within a week in Bihar and the promise to deposit Rs 15 lakh in every citizen’s account after black money would be brought back to India and demonetisation.
The minute these videos were played, Raj got resounding support from the crowds. “This is a total poll-khol of Modi government,” said a party worker.
