Mumbai: A family that was showcased in the ‘Modi Hai Toh Mumkin Hai’ promotion of Kalachowkiea government scheme, was called on the dais by the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief, Raj Thackeray during his rally at Kalachowkie on Tuesday. For the first time since Raj has started campaigning for the Congress and the Nationalist Congres Party, he told the public, not to vote for Shiv Sena.
“The leaderless brats of the BJP’s IT cell have used this family’s photograph for advertisement,” he pointed out. “The BJP is claiming to have helped alleviate poverty and showcased this particular family. We need to ask, how many more families do you plan to use to further your false propaganda,” questioned Raj.

However, the state education minister, Vinod Tawde, dismissed the claim. “The family in the photograph Raj showed is not the beneficiary of any BJP or government scheme. Their photo has never been uploaded on any website. May be some Modi fan has uploaded it, which is wrong,” he retorted.
“The family itself has come forward to say their photo has not been used in any advertisement. So what is Raj cooking up?” questioned Tawde. He went on to allege, the script for Raj’s script was being written in Baramati, the stronghold of the Nationalist Congress Party chief, Sharad Pawar.
