Baramati: Former deputy chief minister and NCP leader Ajit Pawar was on a roll taking on the BJP at a rally in Baramati on Thursday. He said, “They should be made to feel so miserable that they will regret having laid eyes on Baramati,” said Pawar.
Pawar was in Malegaon, campaigning for his cousin, Supriya Sule, the NCP’s Lok Sabha candidate from Baramati. While he was in full flow, his speech was interrupted by two vehicles of the BJP candidate from Baramati, Kanchan Kul, in succession, distracting the attention of the public.

In no mood to reverse gears, Pawar immediately turned around the situation to his advantage. “They have come to hear what Ajit Pawar has to say. After they hear what I have to say, they will be convinced too and press the ‘clock’ button,” said Pawar. The clock is the symbol of the NCP.
