Mumbai: In the light of the ongoing poll season for Lok Sabha elections, the Navi Mumbai police have externed 24 history sheeters out of the city to maintain the peace and order during the polling time.

This move comes after the history sheeters were found to be indulging in notorious activities like extortion, threatening and assault, which ultimately spread terror in the minds of the people. These history sheeters had cases registered against them at Rabale, Turbhe, Sanpada, Vashi, Nerul and MIDC police stations.
