Mumbai : Riding on Worchuipei Kashung’s fine hat-trick, Century Rayon coasted to a facile 4-0 win against Den Bank in a Super Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League 2016-2017, and played at the Mumbai Football Arena, Shahaji Raje Bhosale Kreeda Sankul-BKLP (Andheri Sports Complex) on Tuesday evening. Niyaz Patel also played a role in the win with one goal for the victors.
Century Rayon dominated play from the outset and took the lead in the 11th minute with Kashung hitting the target. Twenty minutes later, Kashung once again was in the thick of action scoring the second goal as Century Rayon went into the break with a 2-0 cushion.
In the second period, Patel scored the third goal in the 56th minute before Kashung finished things off by striking the fourth in the first minute of added on time to complete the margin of victory.
