Mumbai : It was St. Andrew’s third title of the season, after having won the girls under-19 and boys under-17 Subrato Mukherjee junior college /high school tourneys.

The match played virtually under consistent drizzle, saw the first half ended goalless, as Andrews girls missing on a couple of occasions. But it was quite a thrilling affair nonetheless as both gave their best, both got opportunities, but the muddy field inside the box prevented them for finding the target. However, St. Andrews girls were more on the attack in the second half and gave their rivals tough time. Mid-way into the second half, their captain Aditi Shetty picked up the ball just outside the box and took a shot which sailed over the goalkeeper’s head into the far corner.

Earlier, thanks to a goal by their captain Sacchi Munot, Dhirubhai Ambani (Bandra)bagged the consolation win over Jamnabai Narsee. for the third place.
