New Delhi: Japanese multinational conglomerate corporation Sony is reportedly working on a new version of the PlayStation 4. A new PlayStation would require stronger graphics capabilities than the current PS4 has. The upgraded model, referred as PS4.5, includes both an upgraded processor and GPU, the Verge quoted Kotaku a video game-focused blog as saying.

PlayStation 4 (PS4) is a home video game developed by Sony computer entertainment. Announced as the successor to the PlayStation 3 in 2013, it was launched on November 15, 2013, in North America, and November 29, 2013, in Europe, South America and Australia. It competes with Nintendo’s Wii U and Microsoft’s Xbox One, as part of the eighth generation of video game consoles.
