Scottish cagers, Cathedral begin with win

Mumbai : Christ Church, Mumbai fashioned a 2-0 win over Hutchings, Pune to storm into the football semis, in All Maharashtra Anglo-Indian Schools in India football and basketball tournament. Christ Church registered second consecutive win to remain second in Pool ‘B’ behind Bishop’s, Camp, Pune who also qualified for the last four. Cathedral & John Connon raced to their second straight win as they routed Bishop’s, Undri 8-0 in Pool ‘A’. In the basketball for girls, Bombay Scottish, Mahim, Mumbai kicked off with an exciting 19-13 win over Bishop’s, Undri in Pool B.  Cathedral & John Connon registeted 56-30 win over Bishop’s, .
