It was an haute summer line with oodles of sparkle that was creatively used on the garments. Brought to centre stage was organza, a fabric Pinakin loves, along with hints of chiffon and net, which were merged in a very unconventional form.
The audience was transported to a world of serenity and peacefulness, as Stage One was transformed into a beautiful replica of a garden. The atmosphere was created with grass carpet floor, an acrylic swing, sound of birds chirping, gentle fall of water, trees all around with the models artistically posing almost statue-like that contributed to the exotic experience.

The highlight of the sexy, graceful ensembles was ingenious texturing with embroidery, origami, sequins, feathers, laser cut, metalwork, French knots and pearls all amalgamated on the creations to focus on their beauty.
An origami sari was teamed with a stylishly worked jacket. High waist pearl embellished skirt appeared with a feminine cropped 3D textured top. A diamante encrusted blouse looked sensational with a maxi skirt. An ornate embroidered blouse with an unconventional shirt collar was worn with a shaded sari.
A long sleeve shimmering white choli, a neoprene version and a simple long kurta was emphasised with a dupatta embellished with wooden bead work. Fragile petalled flowers, a specialty of Pinakin were the stand-out point of the collection.
The colour story was serene and sophisticated with nude, oyster and tangerine giving way to pale pink and grass green. Exotic floral and fabric hair accessories, colourful plaits and jewelled necklaces further enhanced the beauty of the ensembles.
For that ultimate occasion wear option, Pinakin Patel’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ will be an ideal showstopper for the discerning woman.
