Wants improvement within a week
Bhopal: Bhopal gas tragedy relief and rehabilitation minister Vishwas Sarang visited Kamla Nehru Gas Relief Hospital on Friday and was highly disappointed with the state of affairs in the facility.
Sarang has ordered the hospital management to improve the conditions within a week and submit a report on the urgent requirements of the hospital. He was shocked when he found complaints dating back to 2015 still lying in the complaints box and said that it should be checked everyday. He also ordered for the repairs of the dialysis machines and asked the management to report within 24 hours, if any equipment was not working so that it can be got repaired immediately.
During his visit he met patients in the wards and said, “We will try to coordinate with ICMR to find out which diseases are more prevalent among the survivors and a new wing will also be developed in the hospital. Also, we will try to provide employment to the disaster survivors.”
