Indore: Rajpal Yadav appears before court in cheque dishonour case, granted bail

Indore: Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav appeared before a court here on Tuesday in connection with a cheque dishonour case. He was granted bail on a surety of Rs 50,000.  According to information, the actor had borrowed Rs 5 lakh from Indore resident Surender Singh for some personal work.

The actor had given a cheque to Singh which he had presented in bank to “cash in” in September 2015. But the cheque bounced. To this, Singh had filed a private compliant of fraud against Yadav. The district court had issued bailable warrant against the actor in the last hearing.

On Tuesday, the actor appeared before the court and sought bail in the case. His lawyer Prakash Gupta said that his client was and would follow the court order in the case. He also stated that Yadav won’t be influencing the case. He was granted bail on a bond of Rs 50,000.
