Indore: Results of MP BEd, MEd and MPEd entrance tests were released by Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) also known as Vyapam on Thursday. All those who have appeared in the tests can check their respected result on Vyapam’s official website at www.vyapam.nic.in. The BEd, MEd entrance tests were held on May 27, 2017 and MPEd and BPEd on May 28, 2017. Around 50,000 students had appeared in BEd entrance test against 60,000 vacancies in nearly 600 colleges across the state.
Now, as the results are out, first round of online counselling for choice filling would start. Students, who had taken the entrance test, will be given a chance to fill colleges of their choice, priority-wise.
“Each student will be able to select 50 colleges of his choice online. On the basis of merit, the student will be allocated colleges,” said Matushree Education College director Rambabu Sharma. Students, failing to acquire admission in the first counselling would try their luck in second counselling. For the second counselling, the students will be needed to upgrade their choices.
The department of higher education (DHE) also signalled at allowing colleges to hold third round of counselling at their level if seats on their campuses remain vacant even after two rounds of counselling.
