Mumbai: Chembur police seized 40kg ganja worth Rs 4 lakh on Tuesday evening while conducting a search of vehicle in which five people including one female were present.
They were carrying five bags containing 8kg ganja in each, said police which has also seized the vehicle worth Rs.10,00,000. The police incepted the vehicle after they were tipped.
A case vide Spl LAC No 77/16, u/s 8(c), 20, 29 NDPS Act 1985 has been registered against the five accused.
