Bhopal: Weather man continued to issue warning for heavy rain in Ratlam, Ujjain, Jhabua, Alirajpur, Dhar, Betul, Chhindwara, Seoni, Balaghat, Hoshangabad, Raisen, Rajgarh, Guna, Ashok Nagar districts. Besides, few spells of moderate to heavy rain and thundershower is likely over Balaghat, Bhind, Bhopal, Chhatarpur, Damoh, Datia, Dindori, Guna, Gwalior, Harda, Jabalpur, Katni, Mandla, Morena, Narsimhapur, Panna, Rewa, Sagar, Satna, Sehore, Shahdol, Shivpuri, Sidhi, Singrauli, Tikamgarh, Umaria and Vidisha, the districts of Madhya Pradesh during next 12 to 24 hours.
Kolaras recorded 12cm rainfall in the last 24 hour. Many districts of Indore and Ujjain, Hoshangabad, Jabalpur, Shahdol divisions experienced heavy to moderate rains. Nearly 14 districts recorded heavy rain in the last 24 hours. Besides, Bhopal, Shahdol, Sagar, Hoshangabad, Ujjain, Indore and Jabalpur divisions are likely to experience heavy rain in the next 24 hours.
In addition to Kolaras, Neemuch recorded 9cm rainfall while Agar and Susner recorded 8cm rainfall in the last 24 hours. Mahidpur, Hoshangabad, Sarangpur and Shajapur each recorded 6cm rainfall in the last 24 hours.
According to Meteorological department, the axis of Monsoon is currently passing through Guna and center of well-marked low-pressure over Northwest Bay of Bengal. Similarly, a well-marked low-pressure zone looms over North Coastal Odisha and adjoining region.
Monsoon remained vigorous over isolated parts of MP and adjoining areas. MP witnessed active Monsoon conditions. Monsoon is likely to remain vigorous in East MP and adjoining areas. Active Monsoon conditions are expected over Madhya Pradesh and adjoining areas.
