Kolkata : Bengal Warriors gave away a slender one-point lead in the final 10 seconds to settle for a 34-all tie against Telugu Titans in a thrilling Pro Kabaddi battle at the Netaji Indoor Stadium .

The result meant that Bengal Warriors are out of the semi-final race, while Telugu Titans remained in the hunt jumping to third in the standings with 32 points from 10 matches.

The Kolkata franchise’s star raider Jang Kun Lee put up an allround show to help them bounce back from a 14-19 deficit at halftime as they needed to seal the issue with 34-33 up.

But the Korean’s tackle in the dying seconds proved costly as Rahul Chaudhuri’s successful raid proved to be even stevens for both the teams.

This was bottom-placed Bengal Warriors’ second tie of the season as they had drawn with Puneri Paltan with an identical scoreline in Bengaluru.

Lee who was adjudged Best Raider scored 13 points including 11 in raid and two in tackle, while Monu Goyat and Vishal Mane combined with 11 points.

The Korean inflicted an allout in the 28th minute as Bengal Warriors came back from behind to lead 25-23 but they gave away easy points.
