Zoo enters ‘ Golden Book of Records’

Indore: Indore Zoo has entered ‘ Golden Book of Records’ for its effort to form a human chain under ‘ Save the Tiger Project.’ According to Dr Uttam Kothari, in- charge of Kamla Nehru Zoological Garden, the human chain was formed in the first week of October at the zoo.

The chain was formed to save 1,456 tigers that remain now in the country and participants had donned the mask of tiger while forming the chain.

Dr Kothari further said that this unique effort of the zoo authorities has now entered the Golden Book of Records.

He said that there were 1456 participants each representing one of the 1456 tigers that are left now.

The effort was recorded in presence of official representative and the recording was submitted for approval.
