Indore : The death case of a youth, whose body was found in the jungles of Bherughat in June, has turned out to be a murder. The police have registered cases against unknown accused following the autopsy report. It is now believed that the youth was murdered and his body was dumped in the jungle.According to Pradeep Bakshi, TI Simrol police station, body of a youth was found in the jungles of Bherughat on June 21. The body bore scratch marks which pointed to struggle. The youth was later identified as Mukesh Bairagi (30), a resident of Solanki Nagar, Indore.

Bairagi was reported missing by his wife at Vijay Nagar police station on June 21. After Bairagi was identified by his wife, his body was sent for autopsy. The autopsy report revealed that Bairagi was strangulated.

TI Bakshi said that Bairagi was killed and his body was dumped in the forest to mislead the police investigation. Based on autopsy report, the police have registered cases against unknown accused and are investigating the matter further, he said.
