Indore : The police have traced the missing friend of a youth who died when hit by a train while taking a selfie near the railway tracks in Mangaliya. The police have also seized the mobile phone used to take the selfie and sent it to the laboratory for a thorough check.
It may be recalled that one Jayesh Solanki (18) was hit by a train while taking a selfie near the railway tracks in Mangaliya. His friends Ajay and Amit had taken him to hospital where Jayesh died during treatment.
After admitting Jayesh, Ajay had vanished with the mobile phone and Amit narrated the whole incident to the police.
In order to rule out foul play in Jayesh’s death, the police launched a search for Ajay and finally traced him and seized the mobile phone used to take the selfie.
So far the statements of Amit and station master point to the fact that Jayeshs’ death was accidental and the pictures in the mobile phone will confirm the fact once the lab report comes in.
