Indore : An elderly woman along with her grandsons stabbed boyfriend of her granddaughter and injured him seriously. The victim has been admitted to a hospital where his condition is stated to be critical.
According to Rajendra Nagar Police, Vijay Mankar (22) a resident of village Ukmakhedi, Rangwasa was admitted to MY Hospital late on Thursday night. Mankar had wounds on his body.
Mankar, a medical student, was attended immediately and he nearly died on operation table but was revived by the doctors. However, his condition is still said to be critical.
TI Pradeep Bakshi said Mankar was set upon right in front of his house by seven persons. They beat him up and then stabbed him repeatedly on thighs and fled after he collapsed.
Police identified Manubai, Vikas alias Vicky, Manish, Monu, Prakash, Gudda Mankar and Golu as attackers and arrested them.
The attack came after Mankar was warned not to speak to Annubai’s granddaughter and when the family caught them talking they flew into rage and attacked Mankar with sharp-edged weapons.
