Indore : Team of ‘We Care For You’ arrested a youth for allegedly harassing a woman over phone. The accused has been handed over to Pardeshipura police for further action.
According to the police, victim of Pardeshipura area lodged a complaint with ‘We Care For You’ cell on Wednesday that an unidentified youth had been sending her objectionable messages and also making phone calls even in odd time. After receiving complaint, the team caught the accused on the basis of mobile location. The accused revealed his identity as Shakil Ansari, 34, a resident of Khatipura. In preliminary investigation, it was found that the accused is employed at the same place where the victim is working. Somehow he managed to receive her mobile number and started calling and messaging her. He is being questioned by the Pardeshipura police.
Two loot accused arrested
Kanadiya police of the city took two men from Bhopal in connection with a robbery case of January last, on Tuesday. TI Jagdish Goyal said that Ajay Mishra of Satna and Arvind Pandey of Rewa were arrested by Habibganj police a few days ago. They were arrested in connection with a shootout in the same area. During questioning, they confessed to rob a milkman on Bypass road under Kanadia police station limit on January last. After which both the accused were taken to Indore. They confessed to rob milkman Ajay Parmar of Bhicholi Hapsi of his motorcycle, a mobile phone and cash and managed to flee after committing the crime.
Thieves take away cash, valuables
Thieves struck at a locked house in Moti Tabela area and took away cash and other valuables from there, on Tuesday. According to Raoji Bazaar police, one Pawan Sonone lodged a complaint that he had gone out for some work on December 14 and returned home on Tuesday when he found the lock of the house broken and household goods were in disarray. The thieves decamped with Rs 15000 in cash and gold and silver jewelry. The police have registered a case and started an investigation into the matter.
