Indore : A youth committed suicide late on Saturday night by hanging himself from the ceiling of his house in MIG area. So far the reason for the suicide is not known.
According to MIG Police, the youth was identified as Anoop Gautam (22) a resident of Rewa. He was staying with his friend Santosh in Jagjivanram Nagar and was preparing for the PSC.
On Saturday night, Santosh had gone out leaving Anoop alone in the room when he hanged himself. When Santosh returned, he could not get any response from inside the room. He called the police and one of Anoop’s kin.
The door was forced open and Anoop was found hanging. No suicide note of any kind was found on Anoop’s person and therefore the reason for the suicide is not known.
Anoop’s father is a property broker in Rewa. Anoop came to the city only 20 days ago to prepare for the PSC and was staying with his friend Santosh. He was also working at the some place to earn extra money while preparing for the examinations.
