Indore: A youth, out for a walk after dinner on Monday night, was hit by a speeding car in Talawali Chanda area. He was rushed to the hospital where he died during treatment on Tuesday morning. The police have registered the case and are investigating. According to the police, the youth was identified as Uday (28) and he was in the habit of walking after dinner. On Monday night he was out for his walk when the car hit him. The noise brought his family out and they found him lying in a pool of blood. Eyewitness said that the impact caused Uday to be thrown in the air.
Leader apologises
A local leader Rajesh Bidkar reached MY Hospital late on Monday night for the treatment of injuries he apparently sustained when he fell in an inebriated state. CMO Dr Kataria was on duty and Bidkar’s supporters resorted to raising slogans for no apparent reason. An objection was raised and Bidkar’s supporters began filming with their mobile phones, argued with the hospital staff and generally created ruckus. The police outpost in the hospital was informed and constables on duty escorted Bidkar and his supporters to causality to resolve the issue. However, when the media appeared at the scene, Bidkar and his supporters tried to sulk away, but were cornered by the hospital staff. They were let off only when Bidkar and his supporters apologised to the hospital staff.
Junkies go on stabbing spree
Four persons, including a juvenile were stabbed in stabbing spree by drug addicts. In the first instance, the accused, identified as Mania Kewat, stopped Virendra Singh Rawat, an employee with a private firm, in Lakshmipura Colony and asked for directions to Marimata Square. An unsuspecting Rawat gave the directions and Mania suddenly stabbed him. While Rawat was checking the wound in his leg, Mania stabbed 13-year old Harsh who was passing by. Mania was then joined by Karan alias Kalu Bhat and the duo stabbed Sachin Yadav and Kishanlal in Kamala Nehru Nagar.
Woman commits suicide
A woman committed suicide in Banganga area late on Monday night. According to the police, the woman has been identified as Vimalesh, wife of Balveer Singh Rajput and resident of Govind Colony. She was brought to MY Hospital where doctors declared her brought dead. The police have registered the case and are investigating.
