Indore : A youth stopped a teen aged girl, belonging to reserved category, on the pretext of talking to her and then made obscene gestures towards her. Both the victim and the accused are residents of Khandwa.
According to Khajrana police, the incident occurred on New Road near Lake ‘Do Talab’ on Thursday afternoon. As the girl neared the lake, a youth riding a motorcycle stopped her to talk. The youth, identified as Aman of Pandhana in Khandwa.
During the talk, Aman made some obscene comments and gestures towards her and when she raised an alarm, Aman fled the scene. Based on the complaint, Khajrana police have registered a case of attempted molestation and under other sections of ST/SC Act and a search is on for him now.
