Indore : Banganga police booked a youth allegedly abducting and raping a girl on Friday. The police have launched a manhunt for the accused and started an investigation into the matter.
According to the police, victim, residing in Mukharji Nagar lodged a complaint that one Jitendra Dabi abducted her a few days ago. The accused took her to a relative’s place in Ringnodia village and raped her after threatening her of dire consequences. The accused reportedly hold her captive there and raped her many time.
Somehow she managed to escape from there and reported the matter to her family members after reaching home. Later, she approached police station and filed complaint.

A class XI student girl was allegedly molested by two youths in Vijay Nagar area on Friday. Vijay Nagar police said that a case has been registered under section 354, 294, 506 of IPC against one Sahil and his friend Vishal. Victim stated in her complaint that she was on her way to school when the accused molested her in Malviya Nagar. The police are searching for the accused.
Briefcase stolen from car
Unidentified miscreants stole a briefcase from a doctor’s car after breaking its windscreen on Jawahar Marg on Friday afternoon. According to Malharganj Police, Dr Anoop Dubey of District hospital lodged a complaint that he had gone to visit his relative in City Nursing Home at Jawahar Marg with his wife. He had parked his car in Rajmohalla. After half an hour, he returned and saw the broken windscreen of his car and a briefcase was missing. He immediately informed the police and filed a complaint. Dr Dubey told the police that Rs 39000 and some document were kept in the briefcase. The police have registered a case and started an investigation. The CCTV camera’s also being examined by the police to identify the accused.
