Indore : After a gap of 2 years, General Manager of Western Railway GC Agrawal will hold a meeting Members of Parliament (MPs) of the Ratlam Division here on Friday.
According to sources, the meeting will be held at 11am at Sayaji Hotel. This will be Agrawal’s second visit to the city in a month. Recently, he arrived in the city on January 4 for review of constructions at city railway station as well as at Laxmibai Nagar station.
The WR GM’s meeting with the MPs is considered to be significant as this is going to held before presentation of the Railways Budget and Simhasta Fair, scheduled to be held from April 21 to May 22 in Ujjain.
The MPs invited for the meeting are Indore, Dhar, Khandwa, Ratlam, Ujjain, Dewas Mandsaur. Sources further said that these MPs would raise inordinate delay in some projects like Indore-Mhow gauge conversion, Mhow-Khandwa gauge conversion, Dhar-Chhota Udaipur, Indore-Dahod, Tehi-Rau, Fatehabad-Ujjain gauge conversion, Ratlam-Mhow electrification etc.
