Violation of MPMVA-1994 Lodge FIRs against vehicle-owners: Dy TC

Indore : Deputy Transport Commissioner MSD Kanodia directed the Transport Officers of Indore and Ujjain divisions to be ready for the monsoon season.

In a meeting held on Friday, Kanodia ordered them to launch a drive against unfit vehicles especially school buses and passenger buses.

The DTC directed them to check implementation of Madhya Pradesh Motor Vehicle Act 1994 properly and lodge FIRs against the vehicle-owners, who violate the Act. Kanodia also directed the officials to cancel permit of the violators. Overseeing the monsoon season, he asked them to install radium signals on various bridges of the divisions.
