Vehicle thief nabbed from C21, nine motorbikes recovered

Indore: Vijay Nagar police arrested a notorious thief from C21 mall while he was trying to lift a vehicle from there on Wednesday evening. Police have also recovered nine motorbikes from the possession of the accused.

According to Vijay Nagar police, accused Vinod Raghuvanshi ( 30), a resident of Malviya Nagar, who hails from Seoni Malwa was arrested while he was trying to break locks of twowheelers near C21 mall. Police said that the accused used to steal motorbikes from the mall’s parking and sell them at his village with the help of his two accomplices – Imran and Salim.

During interrogation, the accused revealed that he had stolen about 15 motorbikes and sold them for Rs 4000 to Rs 5000 per vehicle at his village. Vinod was employed in a pickle company but lost his job after which he started lifting motorbikes. Police said that a case has been registered against the accused and a team will be sent to arrest Imran and Salim. nine motorbikes recovered
