Indore : The Food and Drug Administration Department continued its drive against selling of adulterated and unhygienic food in the city, on Tuesday.

Led by SDM DK Nagendra, the FDA team raided a shop in Chhota Bangadada area and collected samples of namkeen, cotton seed oil and food products.

The team also took samples of pizza from Dominos located at Aerodrome area.

According to information, the team raided Shriji Foods and found various irregularities there.

“Kitchen of the shop was very dirty and filled with filth. They were preparing food products in very unhygienic condition and without following set norms. The shop owner couldn’t even show licence of the shop,” the FDA sources said.

Senior Food Safety Officer Manish Swami said that they had collected samples of red paprika and pizza from Dominos as well.

“We will serve a show-cause notice to the owner of Shriji Foods and will take action against him,” he added.
