Ujjain: Underground sewerage work inspected

Ujjain: On Tuesday, Commissioner Kshitij Singhal inspected the progress of underground sewerage work in Nilganga, Bhukhimata, Chakratirth, Bhairavgarh, Ankpat Marg, Koyla Phatak and Nijatapura area along with the team of Tata Project Ltd and Consultant WAPCOS Ltd.

Commissioner directed the concerned officials that the restoration works at the Simhastha Padhav site located in Nilganga area should be completed at a fast pace, so that the locals do not face any hassle for long.

He directed that pipeline work be completed before the rainy season.

Machine and manpower should be increased in Chakratirth area, completion of main raft (bottom base) at Bhairavgarh pumping station and construction of adjoining wall should be completed before rain.

Simultaneously, road restoration and asphaltization work in Ankpat, Koyal Phatak and Nijatapura area should be completed with speed.

Superintending engineer J.K. Kathil along with Vinay Sood, Mohit Sharma of WAPCOS and V.M. Satish, Ashish Singhai, Surendra Sharma of Tata Project were present.

Inspection of Mruda project

After inspecting the sewerage works, the Commissioner inspected the work under Mruda project in the Mahakal area. He directed the officers to complete the remaining works before the rainy season.
