Ujjain: The candidates selected to work as guide at Mahakaleshwar Temple were imparted training at Vikram Kirti Mandir on Wednesday.
Six months ago, a proposal was prepared to appoint trained guides who will share information about the glory of the temple.
Three-day training was imparted to the candidates who were selected under the scheme. But the training failed to fully prepare the candidates for their task.
So the collector Asheesh Singh ordered for another round of training. Collector along with ADM Narendra Suryavanshi reached the venue for imparting training.
Collector said that if the guides share mythological stories related to Mahakal temple with the tourists, then it will be a unique experience. Their interest will also awaken about other places of interest here.
Collector said that the experience of the tourists can be enriched by providing them information on history, architecture and other facts related to the temple. Collector has instructed all the guides to undergo the second phase of training.
