Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh): The two-day first ranking table tennis competition was organised by Ujjain district table tennis association (UDTTA). The chief guest for award distribution and concluding ceremony was Yogesh Malviya, who received the first Dronacharya Award. Special guest was Rajendra Kumar Jain, table tennis player and businessman.

The programme was presided over by UDTTA president SP Jha. The guests were welcomed by secretary Satish Mehta, patron Rajesh Sharma, Akshay Neema, Gunjesh Rohit, Leena Bhavsar and Pushpendra. The programme was conducted by UDTTA secretary Satish Mehta.

They explained the importance of discipline in sports and added that without hard work one cannot give oneís best to be successful.

RESULTS:

(1) Senior category: Winner-Himanshu Jain, Runner-up-Aman Bains

(2) Junior category (boys): Winner-Evant Patni, Runner-up- Keshav Rathore

(3) Junior category (girls): Winner-Leena Bhavsar, Runner-up-Vanshika Motani

(4) Sub-junior category (boys): Winner-Mridul Joshi, Runner-up- Sushmit Jain
