Indore: In its drive against paramedical colleges for fake scholarship, the administration on Thursday sealed two more paramedical colleges. A team of revenue officers led by Tehsildar Rajesh Haldhar sealed the administrative block of Hripunjoy Paramedical College and Rajiv Paramedical College, both at Datoda ( Mhow).

Hripunjoy Paramedical is run by Dr Manish Sharma, while Rajiv Paramedical is run by Sudha Singh. As many as Rs 2 crore are to be taken from both colleges in scholarship scam. Out of 20, seven paramedical colleges have been sealed by the team of revenue officers so far.

Meanwhile, directors of some other paramedical colleges have moved to the High Court on Thursday, pleading that their whole building should not be sealed as it would affect the students. Without passing any order, the court fixed March 27 for next hearing.

Sources said that in view of the studies of other students, which are also being conducted on in the same building, they are not sealing the whole building but only the administrative block. Sources further said that action against the remaining paramedical colleges would be continued in the coming days.
