INDORE: Two persons, including an elderly woman, died in two separate road accidents in the city on Thursday night. The first accident occurred on Sanwer Road where an Eicher Truck ran over Aakash Barolia (23) a resident of Nanda Bali Ka Bagicha, on Thursday afternoon. The accident occurred on service road near Aurbindo Hospital.
Aakash was the only son of his parents and has three sisters. He had graduated recently and was undergoing training at Indo-German Tools.
Aaksh was returning home on his motorcycle when he was hit by a mini-truck. Aakash was thrown off his motorcycle and the truck ran him over, killing him on the spot.
The second accident occurred at Patnipura Square where the city bus hit Subhadrabai (70) a resident of Patnipura on Thursday evening. Injured Subhdrabai was rushed to MY Hospital where she died during treatment late in the night.
At the time of accident, the woman was on her way to Pardesipura with her son. The police have registered cases and are investigating the matters.
Retd IMC employee ends life by hanging
A 70-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling in Aerodrome area on Friday. He was a retired employee of the Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC). The reasons of his taking extreme step could not be established yet. Police are investigating the matter.
According to the police, the deceased identified as Sadashiv Yadav of Scheme No. 51 hanged himself on Friday morning when his family members had gone out for some work.
The incident was discovered when one of his family members returned home and saw him hanging. He immediately rushed him to a hospital but it was too late.The police are recording the statements of his family members to find out the reason of taking extreme step.
Woman raped on pretext of marriage
A 26-year-old married woman was allegedly raped by a person on the pretext of marriage. Juni Indore police said that the victim had filed a complaint that one Anand Tiwari of Manawar of Dhar district raped her several times on the pretext of marriage.The victim was staying with the accused for two years in Scheme No 102 of Saifi Nagar. Since then the accused was luring the victim to marry her.
