Ujjain : Two persons lost their lives and three others were injured in separate road accidents occurred within city limits here on Saturday.

In the first incident, a head on collision between a Tempo Trax and tanker at Unhel Road claimed one dead and left two other seriously injured. Naresh Mehta (45) of Bhilwada was in city to purchase industrial goods with his workers Tarun Singh and Narayan Singh. The collision occurred near Ghurawan while they were returning in late night after purchase the goods.

Naresh died on the spot, while Narayan and Tarun sustained severe injuries. After the information police reached at the spot and sent the injured and the dead to hospital. The injured are being treated at Civil Hospital and family of the deceased has been informed.

In another accident, two persons riding on a bike injured as their vehicle was hit by matador on Dewas Road near Munjakhedi village. Jhujhar Singh (46) of village Gawli was returning to his home with his son Satish when a matador rammed into the bike. Jhujhar Singh died on the spot while Satish received serious injuries. Police shifted both to a hospital. Narwar police has registered a case in this regard and are searching for the vehicle.
