Indore : The officials of the Commercial Tax Department trapped a truck loaded with 12 tons of cumin on Friday evening. The edible item was passing without legitimate documents. When the officials called the owner of the goods, he failed to turn up at their office. The action was carried out by department’s anti evasion wing.
It is also learnt that he Mandi Tax is also liable on the cumin, was also not paid. Hence, the Mandi Secretary is also initiating action against the owner.
