Indore : Three men robbed a trader near his home on Monday night. At the time of the incident the trader was returning home after closing his shop for the day. The robbery was so well planned that the trader did not comprehend what was happening until after the robbery had occurred.
According to Chhatripura police, the victim was identified as Parasmal Bohara, resident of Vardhaman Nagar. As per the complaint, Parasmal was on his way home after closing his shop for the day.
As he neared his home, suddenly a man who appeared to be inebriated came in front of his Activa scooter. Parasmal had to stop the vehicle in order to avoid an accident.
As the man began arguing with Parasmal two of his accomplices came over, snatched the scooter from Parasmal and then fled the scene with the drunkard.
Parasmal’s bag was in the scooter which contained Rs 23500 cash, cheque books and other important documents.
Though Parasmal raised an alarm, the accused made good their escape. Some residents conducted a search in the area and finally located Parasmal’s scooter near a garden.
However, the boot of the scooter was open and the bag was missing, prompting Parasmal to file a police complaint.
