Indore : Depressed over harassment by money-lenders, a city trader went missing along with his family members on August 16. He left a letter in his room stating about harassment by the money-lenders and also misappropriation by his CA.
Police registered a missing person complaint on Friday evening.
According to police, Mazhar Mohammed (37), a resident of Super Palace Colony in Khajrana, went missing along with his wife Famida and children Ali (10) and Azim (6). He left for Ajmer but didn’t reach there.
Mazhar’s brother Majid informed the police when he did not get any information about Mazhar for three days. He even called his relatives in Ajmer and also checked his room.
“We found his mobile phone and a letter from his room. In the letter, he stated that he was under depression due to debts and was frustrated by the harassment of the money-lenders,” Majid said.
He also informed the police that Mazhar had sold his two houses to repay the debt. named money lenders Santosh, Kamlesh, Sachin, Yusuf, Salim and Kudrat in the letter along with the embezzlement done by his CA.
On the complaint of his family members, the police registered a missing person report and started a search for the trader.
