Indore : International working president of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Dr Praveen Togadia launched India Health Line, MP Chapter, here on Friday.
While addressing the inauguration ceremony, Dr Togadia said that he once again took out his stethoscope after 16 years. The ‘India Health Helpline’ is a network of doctors and it will provide free medical and health care to needy.
The Helpline has a national call center to attend patients calls who, after seeing the neighboring general practitioner , want to consult specialist doctor for further advice and necessary treatment. The renowned Cancer Surgeon Dr Togadia said, “Patients do not approach specialists as advised after the primary diagnosis of the disease. It is mainly due to poverty, fear of increased medical expenses if some serious disease is detected and sometimes even ignorance. The disease does not stop, it grows further affecting efficiency of the patient, impacting human working hours & when delayed the serious disease treatment costs much higher. Entire family gets affected by this. The poor, lower middle class & middle class families suffer more due to this.” INDIA HEALTH LINE aims at connecting medical fraternity with the needy & poor patients.
