Indore : Three persons, including a couple, sustained minor injuries and a four-wheeler got damaged as a big branch of a tree fell in a street of Kibe Compound near Madhu Milan Square on Monday.
Eye-witnesses said that a big branch of neem tree fell near a garage in the afternoon. The branch fell on a four-wheeler on which a mechanic Arif Khan was working. The vehicle roof got dented and the mechanic was hurt. He sustained head injury in the mishap.
Two-wheeler-borne Rajvinder Kaur (46) and Jagmohan Singh (40) passing from the area were also injured as their bike fell after hitting the falling branch. They received minor injuries.
All the injured were taken to MY Hospital that discharged them after primary treatment. On learning about the incident, a team of Indore Municipal Corporation reached the scene and removed the branch.
