Indore : Indore’s Thalassemia and Child Welfare Society (ITCWS) will organise an awareness programme ‘Safe daughter-clean society’ to promote State Government’s ‘Beti bachao beti padhao’ campaign on December 17.

The programme will begin with performance on the group’s theme song followed by the launch of the first edition of the magazine Alma Today. President of ITCWS Rajni Bhandari shared that five girls will be honoured for continuing their studies despite struggling with the fatal disease Thalassemia. “They have set an example for other children of society. Their courage and desire to make a better world should be recognised and appreciated,” she said.
