Suwasra (Madhya Pradesh): BJP and Congress party candidates had a dispute with each other during the election campaign. The incident took place in Ward- 13 at Pratappura village, Sitamau on Tuesday.
According to Congress candidate Shiv Narayan Kharol Ghotala, the BJP candidate and workers physically assaulted them when they visited Pratappura to promote their party. On the other hand, BJP candidate Bhagwan Singh Gurjar alleged Congress workers of pasting their own posters over BJP's posters and of physical assault.
An FIR was lodged by both the parties at Suwasra police station. Narayan named Gurjar, Mahesh Saudan, and others in his complaint while Gurjar registered a complaint against Narayan, Raprasad, and others. Police officers tried to mutually solve this case, but were unsuccessful and had to file the cases.
Shiv Narayan questioned the motive of the Suwasra police terming their action as biased and added that he will take this case to the Election Commission and senior officials.
