Indore: Students of Tirathbai Kalachand School, run by T Choithram Foundation, displayed their art and creativity on festival like Ganesh Chaturthi and Rakshabandhan. On this occasion around 400 students of Class VI to VII made the eco-friendly idols of Lord Ganesha using Moti, Kundan, cereals, pulses, paper-meshed clay and water soluble colours. The children pledged to use such easily dissolved Ganesh idols for preserving the sanctity of the environment. They also enthusiastically learnt the art of making rachis made of queiling paper and other decorative material including satin ribbon, teddys and appealing stones.
