Mhow : A joint encroachment removal team of administration and police department faced heavy protest of the encroachers here on Monday. The encroachers pelted stones on team members and thrashed the Tehsildar. The agitators damaged the glasses of JCB machines also. When situation turned worst, police used force and used lathi-charge on the agitators. Police have arrested 15 agitators and sent them jail.

According to sources, under the leadership of Tehsildar Bajrang Bahadur, a joint encroachment removal team of administration and police department reached at Khera village of Gawali Palasia Gram Panchayat near here to remove the illegal constructions done by tribal people on government land at Rau-Mandleshwar four-lane highway near here on Monday. The encroachers had done illegal permanent constructions on the government land.

When the encroachment removal team reached there and started to remove the illegal constructions, the encroachers started to pelt stones and thrashed the Tehsildar. After the hard efforts of about five-hours, the encroachment removal team succeeded to remove the illegal constructions from government land. Police used lathi-charge to disperse the agitating mob.
