Indore : State president of Congress Arun Yadav blamed the state government and RSS for increasing communal tension in the state. He alleged that the government has been trying to distract people’s minds from the coming elections as they are already losing ground.

Addressing the media during his visit to the city on Wednesday, Yadav said, “The state government is afraid of losing ground in the upcoming elections and they are trying to grab the people’s attention away from their failure through communal tension.”

He said that along with increasing branches in the state, the RSS is playing the part to setting ground for the government.

Coming on the BJP’s move to back VYAPAM scam accused Laxmikant Sharma, Yadav said that they don’t have any option than to support the accused.

“It may prove dangerous to them, if they do not support Sharma as he is hiding various secrets and names of chief accused in the VYAPAM scam,” Yadav added.

The Congress president also targeted cannons on the preparations of Simhastha and alleged corruption in the development works. He also demanded the government to release a white paper over the investments that came into the state in the last five years, mainly after the global investors’ summit.
