Indore: A tragedy was averted, when Shanti Express started to run in spite of red signal on station. Though there were no damages but a brawl between driver of the train and station master was reported. Shanti Express, which had to reach Indore station in the morning started to run from Mangliya station without green signal. Driver of Ratlam Sanjeev Kumar was driving this train. The station master of Mangliya ran till the train stopped. Later, the driver blamed the station master for the incident.

They both started to blame each other and fell out. The senior engineer of Ratlam division is investigating the matter. If this train was not stopped, it might have crashed with Jodhpur Express or Bhopal Intercity which was coming from Indore.

Other railway employees claimed that the driver was drunk and his medical check- up was also held. On the other hand, other drivers of Ratlam have come to rescue the driver and blamed the railway administration. They said the driver was not drunk but due to overtime he fell asleep and could not manage the incident. Drivers claimed that due to lesser number of drivers, they had to do overtime and instead of changing drivers from Ratlam they changed the driver in Baroda station.
