Seven stolen 2-wheelers recovered, 4 held

Indore : The City police arrested four bike-lifters from two different areas and recovered seven two-wheelers from them on Tuesday.

The police have booked them and started questioning them for other such thefts.

In the first instance, a team led by MIG TI Taresh Kumar Soni arrested one Rohit Ahirwar of Rustam Ka Bagicha and Naresh Sunahre of Patnipura after receiving a tip-off. The accused confessed their crime to steal bike from Rajendra Nagar and Chhoti Gwaltoli area. Later, the police recovered four vehicles from them.

In another instance, Rau police arrested two persons— Rakesh Parmar of Ghatabillod and Pappu Borasi of Pawanputra Nagar. TI Vijay Sisodiya said that the accused were arrested on the basis of the CCTV camera of a wine shop in which one of the accused was captured while lifting a bike.

The accused also stole two more bikes from different area. Three bikes were recovered from them.
