Indore:  ‘School Chale Hum’ campaign is taking the shape of people’s movement due special initiative taken by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The month-long Phase 1 which conducted surveys all around the district digging up the areas which needs maximum attention.

Sanjay Goyal, District Education Officer of Indore, while speaking to Free Press about the developments of the programme said, “The school will commence from June 16 but teachers will have to join their duty from June 11 and will have to work together to get the maximum enrolments to the school from the areas specified in the surveys.” Since, the programme has taken up a grand form by inviting maximum support form the people, “Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan” even launched a toll free invite registrations from the people who want to volunteer into this initiative.

Indore till now has received 571 registrations and the educational officers are guiding them to work in their areas and trace those kids who are under privileged and lacking the access to school.
